province of Kalimantan East have forest area pursuant to its function for the width of 19.518.186ha. From broadness, for the width of 9.734,653ha among others represent natural forest with function produce and for the width of 4.916.900ha or equal to 25% among others represent forest area with conservation function ( Anonim, 2001). In this time most of forest area produce its condition very concerning effect of activity of small scale and also big scale good wood exploitation. Condition of [is] same also happened many [at] some conservation area where its condition very concerning effect of existence of various trouble continuity of area function [pass/through] mutilation because logging illegal, perambahan of forest by area conversion become economics activity place and also natural disaster effect [pass/through] forest fire. Condition of forest aktual like this met almost flatten in all sub-province / town [in] Kaltim. Some the trouble affect signifikan to loss of the source of science, degradation of variety potency involve, loss of the source of plasma of nutfah, change of cultural value, and also fast improvement [of] sedimentation and erosion which in general cause degradation of environmental quality. The condition also in this time happened [at] some forest group [in] Sub-Province of Kutai East.
